Pain

Pain

I survived the harsh chemo and lived through it. and now it is time for me to suffer through the results of the chemo. I have severe leg pain from my mid thigh to my heels. This is neuropathy caused by the chemo.  I have been on special pills for the nerve pain, but they aren’t working yet. I hear it can take a couple of weeks before these pills handle the pain. For now I am just suffering and pretty much bed ridden. I praise God for a chance at life, but I also ask for His help to bear the pain.

  1. We do not know why we are asked to endure pain and sickness. What we do know is that God will stand by your side and see you through. May you feel God’s presence as He brings you back to health. I pray that the Lord will take away the pain sooner rather than later.
And the God of all grace will himself restore you and make you strong. 1 Peter 5:10

  2. Ouch. That sucks. I pray the pills work faster. Drink lots of water if you can Cheryl. Flushes out the bad stuff faster. Blessing and strength to you.

  3. Cheryl, I can’t begin to even think how tough this is. I hope you can manage the pain until the meds kick in and you start to get better. Take care. Think of your grandchildren and smile at some of the great memories. It works for me. I hope Richard is hanging in there as well, it’s just different for him.

  4. Father, you also suffered with physical pain while here on earth, so you know what my dear sister in the Lord is having to endure. Please, Lord, relieve her of this excruciating pain that she is going through and continue to give her the joy to delight in You as she praises You no matter what the circumstances.
In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
