Women in Ministry Silenced or Set Free on Cheryl Schatz's blog

“Women in Ministry Silenced or Set Free” videos are now on Vimeo!

From 2005 to 2006 I worked really hard on a project that has touched many lives. I did all the research, wrote the script, and then completed the video editing and graphic production. It was a long, hard process, but I am so pleased with the results. The finished DVD project is called Women in Ministry Silenced or Set Free?

“Women in Ministry Silenced or Set Free?” provides in-context answers for all the passages that seem to limit women’s ability to teach the gospel. There are 7 sections suitable for Bible study groups or personal study. This unique set of videos is fast-paced and visually entertaining. Each disputed Scripture is dealt with thoroughly and decisively to bring the viewer to an understanding of Scripture which connects all relevant Scripture together without contradiction.

Each of the DVDs is listed below with the specific information on each video. Next to the information are links to watch the videos free on YouTube. If you would like to purchase the DVD version, it is available from the “Add to cart” button at the bottom of this post for only $24.99 plus shipping.

Women in Ministry Silenced or Set Free DVD

Many have been confused by what appears to be contradictions in the Scriptures on the issue of women in ministry. Pastor Michael W. Hicks wrote this review on the DVD set Women in Ministry Silenced or Set Free?

I am a Senior Pastor of a Foursquare Church. I have never been satisfied with the interpretations offered over several difficult verses which seem to restrict women in ministry. Not because I did not like them, but those interpretations left God Almighty constantly contradicting His word, or at least these interpretations. This DVD did an outstanding job of linking the passages together and answering them in a thoughtful and exceptionally Borean way. And they no longer make God out to be a contradictor of His own word. Wonderful job Holy Spirit, Thank you.

Is Cheryl Schatz still alive? On the Path blog

“Is Cheryl Schatz still alive?” some have asked. It has been far too long since I updated my On the Path blog. I am still alive, and I am still on the path, although I have suffered through a time of spiritual abuse. I am doing very well physically, and there is no sign of the return of cancer. The one spot that I had on my spine is smaller, and I am considered stable. My last chemotherapy infusion was two and a half years ago and that trial is becoming a distant memory. I still have side effects from the chemo and the anti-estrogen medication, however, I am doing very well and thankful to be alive. There still have been challenges in my life, and I needed to step back for a time to heal emotionally. Two things happened in the last year that I never expected would ever happen in my lifetime.
