Melanie is a writer and editor and has been working for MM Outreach for several years editing our MM Outreach News & Views magazine. She has also been helping us with the daunting task of correcting grammar and spellling from the old MacGregor Ministries website. It is an ongoing work. We are so proud of Melanie and the opportunity that God has given us to watch her grow in her love for the truth of God’s word and her desire for the defense of the faith.

Melanie's bio

Melanie lives in Alberta, Canada with her husband and 2 kids. She is a stay-at-home Mom who feels blessed to have time available to help family and friends when needed. She volunteers lots of time at her kids' school, and is also a pianist and vocalist on the worship team at her church.

Melanie became more interested in apologetics and discernment ministry when a friend shared with her about some strange stuff happening at Bethel Church in Redding, California. With Cheryl Schatz's help, she learned where and how to look into these things for herself. What started out as finding facts for her own knowledge and discernment quickly became a passion to shine a light on error for family and friends. Melanie's heart is to draw attention to the false doctrines that have entered the church and taken Christians away from the truth and authority of God's word.
