Here are some verses that are HIGHLY relevant and some questions for you to ponder.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 1 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 1:9 There was <strong>the true Light<\/strong> which, coming into the world, <strong>enlightens every man<\/strong>. <b>(What does the true Light do?)<\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 1:11\u201312 He came to <strong>His own<\/strong>, and <strong>those who were His own did not receive Him<\/strong>. 12 But <strong>as many as received Him<\/strong>, to them <strong>He gave the right<\/strong> to become children of God, even to those <strong>who believe in His name<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>(Who were Jesus&#8217; own that did not receive Him? Who did Jesus give the right to become children of God?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 1:29 The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, \u201cBehold, the Lamb of God <strong>who takes away the sin of the world<\/strong>!\u00a0<strong>(What is the sin of the world?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 1:45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, \u201cWe have found Him <strong>of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote<\/strong>\u2014Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.<strong>\u201d (When did Philip first believe in Jesus?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 1:47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and said of him, \u201c<strong>Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit<\/strong>!\u201d\u00a0<strong>(What does it mean that Nathanael had no deceit in him?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 1:48\u201349 Nathanael said to Him, \u201cHow do You <strong>know me<\/strong>?\u201d Jesus answered and said to him, \u201cBefore Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, <strong>I saw you<\/strong>.\u201d 49 Nathanael answered Him, \u201cRabbi, <strong>You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0<strong>(Why did Nathanael say that Jesus knew him? What was it that Jesus said to Nathanael that cause Nathanael to declare that Jesus is the Son of God and King of Israel?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 2 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 2:11 This <strong>beginning of His signs<\/strong> Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and <strong>His disciples believed in Him<\/strong>. <b>(By what event did the disciples believe in Jesus?)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 2:18\u201322 The Jews then said to Him, \u201c<strong>What sign do You show us as your authority<\/strong> for doing these things?\u201d 19 Jesus answered them, \u201c<strong>Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up<\/strong>.\u201d 20 The Jews then said, \u201cIt took forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?\u201d 21 But <strong>He was speaking of the temple of His body<\/strong>. 22 So <strong>when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed<\/strong> the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.\u00a0<strong>(What is the sign that Jesus gave that would show His authority? When did Jesus&#8217; disciples believe Jesus&#8217; sign of authority?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 3 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 3:14\u201315 \u201c<strong>As Moses lifted up the serpent<\/strong> in the wilderness, <strong>even so<\/strong> must the Son of Man be lifted up; 15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life. <strong>(What common relationship does Moses&#8217; lifting up the serpent on a pole have with Jesus lifted upon the cross?)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 3:16\u201317 \u201cFor God\u00a0<strong>so loved the world<\/strong>, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 \u201cFor\u00a0<strong>God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world<\/strong>, but that the world might be saved through Him.\u00a0<strong>(Did God send the Son into the world for judgment?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 3:18 \u201cHe who believes in Him <strong>is not judged;<\/strong> he who <strong>does not believe has been judged already,<\/strong> because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. <strong>(What does unbelief have to do with judgment?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 3:19-21 \u201cThis is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 \u201cFor <strong>everyone who does evil hates the Light<\/strong>, and <strong>does not come to the Light<\/strong> for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 \u201c<strong>But he who practices the truth comes to the Light<\/strong>, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been <strong>wrought in God<\/strong>.\u201d <strong>(What deeds do men do\u00a0that keeps them from coming to the Light? For those who do come to the Light, what deeds do they do that\u00a0proceeds their coming to\u00a0the Light? Who is the Light?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 3:36 \u201c<strong>He who believes in the Son has eternal life<\/strong>; but\u00a0<strong>he who does not obey the Son will not see life<\/strong>, but the wrath of God abides on him.\u201d <strong>(What does obeying the Son have to do with life?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 4 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, \u201cIf you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, \u2018Give Me a drink,\u2019 <strong>you would have asked Him<\/strong>, and <strong>He would have given you living water<\/strong>.\u201d<strong> (What was to\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><b>precede the giving of living water from Jesus?)<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 4:41\u201342 \u00a0Many more believed because of His word; 42 and they were saying to the woman, \u201cIt is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for <strong>we have heard<\/strong> for ourselves<strong> and know that this One is indeed<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>the Savior of the world<\/strong>.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 5 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 5:21 \u201cFor <strong>just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life<\/strong>, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.\u00a0<strong>(What does the Father and the Son do for the spiritually dead?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 5:24 \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, he who <strong>hears<\/strong> My word, and <strong>believes <\/strong>Him who sent Me, <strong>has eternal life<\/strong>, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.\u00a0<strong>(What two things things does a person have to do to have eternal life?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 5:25 \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and <strong>now is<\/strong>, when <strong>the dead will hear<\/strong> the voice of the Son of God, and<strong> those who hear will live<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>(What can the spiritually dead do?)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 7 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 7:17 \u201cIf <strong>anyone is willing to do His will<\/strong>, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God\u00a0<strong>(What is required for one to know if Jesus&#8217; teaching is of God?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 7:28 Then Jesus cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, \u201cYou both know Me and know where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but <strong>He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>(Who is it that those in the temple did not know?)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 7:37 Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, \u201c<strong>If anyone is thirsty<\/strong>, let him come to Me and drink.&#8221;\u00a0<strong>(Who were the ones invited to come to Jesus and drink from\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><b>Him?)\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 8 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">John 8:19 So they were saying to Him, \u201cWhere is Your Father?\u201d Jesus answered, \u201c<strong>You know neither Me nor My Father<\/strong>; if you knew Me, you would know My Father also.\u201d\u00a0<strong>(Did the crowd know the Father?)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">John 8:31\u201332 \u00a0So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, \u201c<strong>If you continue in My word<\/strong>, then you are truly disciples of Mine; \u00a032 and <strong>you will know the truth<\/strong>, and the truth will make you free.\u201d\u00a0<strong>(What is the pre-requisite for knowing the truth?)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 8:34 Jesus answered them, \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, <strong>everyone who commits sin<\/strong> is <strong>the slave of sin<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>(Who is the slave of sin according to Jesus?)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 8:35 \u201cThe slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever.\u00a0<strong>(What is the difference between a slave and a son?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 8:38\u201341 \u201cI speak the things which I have seen with My Father; therefore you also do the things which you heard from <strong>your father<\/strong>.\u201d 39 They answered and said to Him, \u201cAbraham is our father.\u201d Jesus said to them, \u201c<strong>If you are Abraham\u2019s children, do the deeds of Abraham<\/strong>. 40 \u201cBut as it is, <strong>you are seeking to kill Me<\/strong>, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God; this Abraham did not do. 41 \u201c<strong>You are doing the deeds of your father.<\/strong>\u201d They said to Him, \u201cWe were not born of fornication; we have one Father: God.\u201d\u00a0<strong>(What were the Jews doing that showed God was not their Father?)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 8:42 Jesus said to them, <strong>\u201cIf God were your Father, you would love Me,<\/strong> for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me.\u00a0<strong>(What is a sign that God is one&#8217;s Father?)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">John 8:43\u201345 \u201cWhy do you not understand what I am saying? It is because <\/span><\/span><strong style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">you cannot hear My word<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">. 44 \u201c<\/span><\/span><strong style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">You are of your father the devil<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">, and you want to do the desires of your father. <\/span><\/span><strong style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"> because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie,<strong> he speaks from his own nature<\/strong>, for <strong>he is a liar and the father of lies<\/strong>. 45 \u201cBut <strong>because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">(Why cannot the Jews hear Jesus&#8217; word? Who are they of? Why can they not stand in\u00a0the truth? Whose nature do they have?)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 8:47 \u201c<strong>He who is of God hears the words of God<\/strong>;<strong> for this reason<\/strong> you do not hear them, <strong>because you are not of God<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0<strong>(Who hears the words of God? Why don&#8217;t some hear?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 8:54\u201355 Jesus answered, \u201cIf I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, \u2018<strong>He is our God<\/strong>\u2019; 55 and <strong>you have not come to know Him<\/strong>, but I know Him; and if I say that I do not know Him, I will be a liar like you, but I do know Him and keep His word.\u00a0<strong>(These Jews who said that the Father is their God, what have they not come to know?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 8:59 Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, <strong>but Jesus hid Himself<\/strong> and went out of the temple.\u00a0<strong>(What was Jesus able to do when enemies wanted to see Him to hurt Him?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 9 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 9:31 \u201cWe know that God does not hear sinners; but <strong>if anyone is God-fearing and does His will<\/strong>, He hears him.\u00a0<strong>(Who does God say He will hear?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 9:34 They answered him, \u201cYou were born entirely in sins, and are you teaching us?\u201d So they put him out. (<strong>Who were the ones who claimed that a man was born entirely in sins?&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 9:39 And Jesus said, \u201cFor <strong>judgment I came into this world<\/strong>, so that those who do not see may see, and that <strong>those who see may become blind<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0<strong>(Why does Jesus heal the blind, but spiritually blind those who falsely claim to have knowledge and who falsely claim to know the truth?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 9:40\u201341 Those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things and said to Him, \u201cWe are not blind too, are we?\u201d 41 Jesus said to them, \u201cIf you were blind, you would have no sin; but<strong> since you say, \u2018We see,\u2019 your sin remains<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>(What makes the sin of these Pharisees remain on<\/strong> them?)<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 10 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 10:1 \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber.\u00a0<strong>(Who determines that way thieves and robbers try to enter the fold?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 10:14 \u201cI am the good shepherd, and I know My own and <strong>My own know Me<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>(Who are the ones who know Jesus?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 10:14\u201315 \u201cI am the good shepherd, and I know My own and<strong> My own know Me<\/strong>, 15 <strong>even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father<\/strong>; and I lay down My life for the sheep.\u00a0<strong>(Who are those who know Jesus?) <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 10:16 \u00a0\u201c<strong>I have other sheep<\/strong>, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and<strong> they will hear My voice<\/strong>; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.\u00a0<strong>(Who will hear the voice of Jesus?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 10:24\u201326 The Jews then gathered around Him, and were saying to Him, \u201cHow long will You keep us in suspense? <strong>If You are the Christ<\/strong>, tell us plainly.\u201d 25 Jesus answered them, \u201c<strong>I told you, and you do not believe;<\/strong> the <strong>works<\/strong> that I do in My Father\u2019s name, these <strong>testify<\/strong> of Me. 26 \u201cBut <strong>you do not believe because you are not of My sheep<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>(Why did the Jews not believe that Jesus is the Christ?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 10:27 \u201cMy sheep<strong> hear My voice,<\/strong> and I know them, and <strong>they follow Me<\/strong>;\u00a0<strong>(What are the two things that the sheep belonging to Jesus do?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"> John 10:28 and I<\/span><\/span><strong style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\"> give eternal life<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"> to them, and they will never perish; and <\/span><\/span><strong style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">no one will snatch them out of My hand<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">(Jesus will continue to give\u00a0life to who? In whose hands is\u00a0eternal life?)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">John 10:29 \u201cMy <\/span><\/span><strong style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">Father, who has given them to Me<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of <\/span><\/span><strong style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">the Father\u2019s hand<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">(Who gave them to Jesus? In Whom is safety\u00a0and eternal life existing?)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 10:41 Many came to Him and were saying, \u201cWhile John performed no sign, yet <strong>everything John said about this man was true<\/strong>.\u201d (How much did John the Baptist say about Jesus that was true?)<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 11 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 11:10 \u201cBut if <strong>anyone<\/strong> walks in the night, he stumbles, because <strong>the light is not in him<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0<strong>(What causes a man to stumble?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 11:50\u201351 nor do you take into account that it is expedient for you that <strong>one man die for the people<\/strong>, and that the whole nation not perish.\u201d 51 Now he did not say this on his own initiative, but being high priest that year, <strong>he prophesied that Jesus was going to die for the nation,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(Who was Jesus prophesied to die for?)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 11:52 and not for the nation only, but in order that <strong>He might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>(Who else would Jesus die for?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 18px;\">John 12 and Questions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 12:19 So the Pharisees said to one another, \u201cYou see that you are not doing any good; look,<strong> the world has gone after Him<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0<strong>(Who did the Pharisees say that had gone after Jesus?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14px;\">John 12:25 \u201cHe who loves his life loses it, and <strong>he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>(Who are those who will keep their eternal lives?
